Hey Tex, you're funny! LOL! I am a welder as my screen name would indicate. I'm retired now due to an injury but my last job was my most enjoyable. I worked for an Aerospace firm here in Florida and really had a great time doing that

Hey Tex, I did get mine a week or more ago and used it on an old Savage Sporter 22 rifle. It was one from my Grandfather and is older than both of us! It has the older brown finish on it and while I've kept it spotless, it still had an ocassional

Tig, I recommend this but I don't know if I would have the courage to use it on a collectors piece or the like. I would have to have a lot more experience with it for that

Hey Tig, If it does't do the job, I'll buy yours! It really shined up my oldest 1903 (Test Job) Make sure you don't use it on cold blue areas. It did take off the one spot of cold blue I had put on the colt. But I've got more. Like OldBuzzar said. I wrapped it around a .22 brass brush and scrubbed the barrel. Cleaned all but the pits.

Okay, I checked it out and liked what I saw! I went ahead and ordered one of them. For $5 bucks and after your recommendation, it was kind of a no brainer! LOL! Thanks for the tip Tex!!

Just got in a"BIG 45 FRONTIER Metal Cleaner. It's a scratch pad for removing rust from steel guns. It says it will and it does remove rust from steel firearms without touching the blueing. I really works. Took one of my 89 year old 1903s
